Jalo Jones

Jalo, a native German, was born in 1958 in Neunkirchen, Saarland, a medium-sized town marked by the coal and steel industry. In 1978, soon after getting his first guitar, he started to write songs in German and later in English and put aside this hobby when he began his working life as a teacher in 1992.

In 2019 a twist of fate brought him back to music. An EP with four of his songs in English taped in 1990 found its way to music producers at a famous studio in London. They wanted to make an album with him. The result has become “Chapters”, a work of art that fell into place beyond all expectations.

In February 2023, Jalo retired from teaching to dedicate his life to a career as a music artist.
